Carpenters Union Local 254 The carpenters union is a great place to be. The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) offers American carpenters a chance to invest in their country and build with American pride. In the brotherhood everyone is well trained to handle carpenter jobs in a safe and a productive manor. Quality work is produced by some of the most skilled carpenters in the country.

Being Productive is very important without production there is no progress. The older that I get the more important productivity is to me. Carpentry jobs have dead lines and if the deadlines are not met then the customer is not happy. That is why carpenters that are in the union make sure that they are productive.

Quality work is very important to the carpenters union. Being productive and producing quality work is what makes a union carpenter different from regular carpenters. In the union we are trained to produce quality work I have seen contractors that are not union produce some very bad work at very cheap prices. They say you get what you paid for and they are right. So before you decide to tackle a multi million dollar job be careful and go union.

Safety is very important it is last on my list but it is not least. I have a saying you want to leave the job the same way you come in. Carpentry and safety go together hand and hand and that is what we are trained to be safe.

I am proud to be a member of the carpenters union. I am a fine tuned machine that is ready for action. It is a blessing to be a part of an organization that spreads across the United State and Canada. I worked with a numerous amount of contractors. Some jobs I get to see complete, other jobs I get laid off for some reason or another but through it all I know that I am a star and a legend.

Ask any union carpenter and they will tell you that union carpentry jobs are completed in a timely manor with quality work that is second to none. The union is large, with eager carpenters that are ready to work. So if one person for some reason is not able to complete a job he will be replaced by someone that can. No hard feelings, that is just how we roll. The union has been around for a very long time and they are not going anywhere they are deeply rooted into the American dream. The Union was established to organize and benefit the lives of American carpenters that want to better the lives of other people
