Merry Christmas From Carpentrypages

Merry Christmas from Carpentrypages and Jereme Green. Christmas is time for giving and receiving. Today I want to extend my gratitude and tell each and everyone of you thank you for the support. If it wasn’t for you there would be no me. In other words you helped me to become the person that I am today and I just wanted to say thanks.

I would like to say happy birthday Jesus. Some people may not want to admit it but we are celebrating his birthday and I am grateful for that. I am going to swallow my pride and be humble for a minute. Last year around this time I was laid off from carpentry work. I had no side jobs and the carpenters union didn’t have work for me at the time. I had no money for Christmas. I was pretty depressed and I barely had enough money to buy my kids toys. It was a bad situation to be in.

But I made the bad situation into a good one I decided to make everyone in my family picture frames last year. It was more work than I expected but the results were outstanding. The molding for the picture frames was not expensive and I had all the tools to get the job done. Life gave me lemons so I made lemonade and it was good.

This year I had a few dollars to buy gifts for everyone and it really feels good. It feels good to do nice things for people that you love. I was called to work on a carpentry job in Short Hills New Jersey my employer was Nordic Contracting. The New Jersey American water company is building some water tanks to help hold more water. Right along with some other highly sophisticated projects. I was hired to be on the job for one month and the job ended up lasting months the contractor was pleased and they said that they might hire me back in the near future.

I met some good carpenters from south Jersey if you are reading this “What’s Up!” I got laid off on December 12 2011 the day before my birthday. I managed to save some money for Christmas and that is the end of the story. For now I am going to enjoy this holiday season and reflect on how good God has been in my life. I have a great story tell, this has been one crazy year, and I am going to share it with you before this year ends.
