Carpentry JobA carpentry job can be great job to get into. Carpentry can be a self-rewarding job. Because after you have built your project you can take a step back and admire it, and be proud that you made it. You can even have the option of taking a picture of what you built and showing your friends and family members. Working under a carpentry contractor is o.k. As long as the contractor knows how to run the job and they know carpentry then everything should run smoothly. If you work for the union under a carpentry contractor you will get the prevailing wage that a carpenters makes in you area plus benefits. And you will make the same as every carpenter makes on the job. If work ever gets slow in the carpentry industry, you can always become your own boss and start up your own basic carpentry business. I try to do side work when I’m between jobs that side money adds up. On the majority of carpenter jobs that I have been on they all have one thing in common which is the dust. The dust and dirt can get so bad at times it is necessary for everyone to were a dust mask. By the time it is time to take lunch you are ready to change your clothes because your clothes are so dusty. Some carpentry tools are just very loud to the point were you have to wear earplugs all day to protect your ears as you are working. I actually enjoy the noise as long as its not running constantly I’m fine. Not for all but for allot of jobs they may require heavy lifting, strenuous and excessive bending and stretching. This results to a very tired worker at the end of the day
